[INDIE/ROCK] Foster the People – “Machu Picchu” (The Strokes Cover)

One of the hottest bands on the indie track right now is undoubtedly Foster The People. “Pumped Up Kicks” was the only real runner in this category that got any air time and single handedly kept the genre alive in the Top 40 category. Now Foster The People have taken some of their klout and moved it into covering The Strokes‘ “Machu Picchu” during a recent stint at BBC Radio 1. A little different than what you might be used to from the group, Foster The People take a psychedelic approach to the track with reggae infused synths and mellow vocals. Check it out below.
