[ROCK] Jack White – “Love Interruption” + Announces Debut Solo Album

It seemed like it would only be a matter of time before Jack White decided that he would release a solo album. But it was a long time coming and not before he made a few other successful projects with the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, and the Dead Weather. Yesterday, Jack White announced he will be releasing his debut solo album entitled Blunderbuss, which will be released April 24th via Third Man Records/Columbia.

As if that weren’t enough exciting news for one day, Jack courteously released his first single off the album as a little preview of what’s to come. “Love Interruption” is a down tempo, raw acoustic jam with bits of piano and clarinet thrown in. It’s damn catchy and drips of that Jack White soulfulness that we’ve come to love so much. Check it out below.

You can buy the digital version of the track and pre-order your copy of the Third Man Records released 7″ out February 7 featuring non-LP B-side “Machine Gun Silhouette” now.
