Deerhoof drummer Greg Saunier has reworked GIVERS’ track “Meantime” into an upbeat, in your face kind of tune. Greg’s remix is so full of percussive additives that it would make ‘Drumline’ jealous. Not to say that’s a bad thing, but the beat really does remind me of my days in marching band. The song definitely has a more aggressive attitude than the original, but that just makes it all the better in my book. Check it out.
