Music festivals and magic are virtually synonymous.
Anyone who’s had the pleasure of attending a festival can certainly share a number of plentiful stories or speak to great lengths of their whimsical encounters. This year at Bonnaroo a small group of attendees witnessed what may be one of the most extraordinary magical moments I’ve seen at a festival.
Behold, The Roonicorn
Now, what is this magical Roonicorn one may ask?
Feast your eyes:
Definitely the most lit moment of any music festival I've been to. Thank you Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival for…
In the three-10 second clips taken during Rezz‘s set, this magical creature breaks it the HECK down, with moves that garnered an eventual crowd of what reportedly seemed like hundreds of people.
Jack Hurley, a music producer and graphic designer, who happened by chance upon this small group, described the moment as,”… the most lit moment of any music festival I’ve been to. ”
Now with over 4 million views and 30,000 shares, Roonicorn is getting the attention it deserves.
When I asked Jack via Facebook about the experience, he said it was really just such a random occurrence, to look into an open pit and see people worshipping a plastic unicorn, one who’s owner remained unattached. It was unlike anything he’d ever seen.
These sort of little things happen at festivals and sometimes they can make all the difference. For Jack and whoever else got to experience this phenomenon, we’re certainly glad it did.
All Hail The Magical Roonicorn
