British producer/DJ Duke Dumont will be making a much anticipated stop in Chicago this weekend as he rounds out the rest of his North American tour. Probably best known for his hit single “Need U (100%)” featuring A*M*E – which was released more than a year ago, but which just peaked at the top of the UK Singles Chart in April – Duke Dumont has since enjoyed a slew of remixes in the wake of his release, which is most likely responsible, in part, to the recent chart topping success of the track. And while the original was pure summer, dance floor gold, Las Vegas natives Black Boots, which consists of Lightknife and Mikey Francis, have toned the single down into bass heavy, trapped-out bliss. Fans of “Need U (100%)” will appreciate the untouched UK garage vibes and pitch perfect vocals from A*M*E, but can delight in the new found playability that Black Boots have injected into the track. This one was one of our favorites last year, and now we have found a whole new reason to keep it on repeat again. You should, too.
