NYC duo The Knocks have been in the studio hard at work on their upcoming debut album that’s due out later this year, but that’s not stopping them from releasing some great new music on the side. Ben and James have taken Tegan and Sara‘s “Closer” and added some soulful keys and 80’s style synth stabs around the vocals to re-manifest the track into pure dance magic. The Knocks will be bringing their uniquely upbeat sounds to Chicago next week as they perform with Savoy at The Mid. Going to be a great night with great music. Until then, enjoy the sounds below.
