I avoid spilling words over Lana Del Rey, well, because:

Basically, if you’re the direct beneficiary of feminism, don’t be a privileged douche and disregard it. Simple as that. Because, you know, I disregard you for it.  But this is an araabMUZIK review that samples Lana Del Rey, and that guy, yeah, I’m officially fucking enthused about him. Like he’s one of my favorite artists, easily in my top 10. He’s been there since his remix of Sleigh Bells’ “Never Say Die’ came to be the anthem of a period of glorious self destruction and rebirth of mine. Fall of 2012, oh how I remember ye, Little Caesar’s pizza in the evening and thoughts of blowing up my life in search of something better to the soundtrack of araabMUZIK at night.  Seeming tangents aside, this is all to say that, yeah, the dude makes Lana Del Rey officially exciting again by sidestepping her in favour of a a cavalcade of explosive emotion in that complex layer-upon-layer-oh-fuck-we-might-drown-in-it-all-oh wait-we’ve kept-afloat style that’s he so damned skilled at.

Plus, who doesn’t love a bit of summertime sadness remixed into the best way possible as an antidote to all those assholes booming EDM ‘anthems’ your way to make you, I don’t know, goddamn happy via obnoxious osmosis?
