With RAC and Yeasayer already in the mix, Death Cab For Cutie just released a Dillon Francis dubstep take on their single, “Underneath The Sycamore.” This remix EP is really stacking up to be a big hit with all the talented artists coming in to remix tracks. While I love the diversity Death Cab is bringing in for this project, this dubstep mix is not a genre I expected to hear on the EP. Different is sometimes nice though. The opening credits set a nice tempo with some bouncy synths and Skrillex style vocal cuts. The beat soon grows into some massive drops and continues strong, carving out a solid five minute time slot. Listen below.
