A year ago, Excision wowed the dubstep scene with his 10 track album titled “X Rated” featuring collaborators such as Downlink, Messinian, Savvy, SkisM, and Datsik.  Having gained massive popularity, Excision turned to young and upcoming DJs and gave them the opportunity to remix these songs from his album “X Rated” and featured 11 of these on the newest remix album.  This newly released album includes remixes by Dirtyphonics, Space Laces, Loadstar, Lucky Date, Elite Force, High Rankin, Specimen A, Far Too Loud, Xilent, Calyx & TeeBee, and Eptic.  Of the artists featured, Xilent stood out by far and absolutely killed it!  Bringing in his drum n’ bass style, Xilent morphs Excision’s song titled “Sleepless” into a soothing yet chilling tune.  Check out Excision’s new album, and let us know which remix is your personal favorite!
