Delusional individuals, those that hold on to the ludicrous idea that in their bodies inhabits a soul, separate to our physical plane of existence, not bound by what holds us in one place but free to connect beyond borders, across time and distance. Regardless of my self-proclaimed romantic nature, destiny has always provided a feast to my cynic hunger for what good would it do to believe in such a phenomenon if it meant accepting the risk of despondency due to someone’s Hallmark idea of what should complete me.

Then I was swept in the migrating fog of your pain as it engulfed me… My desperation suddenly born from someone else’s suffocation. Anxiety piled at the pit of your stomach and turned into bile at the end of my throat. And as quickly as I felt you within grasp, I lost the sight of you I never had…

Ridiculous notion, that there is such thing as The One in a society driven by rational empiricism and claims to realism. It moves mountains this mystery, its build upon layers of investments in the hopes that fate has prescribed a perfect dose of idealism and built something for each and every one of us in our self-deserving natures that will despite all rational statistic provide our personal Broadway meet cute.

But I saw myself reflected in your eyes. The ocean around us calm and serene. A long lost and now found peace claimed the air around me and I felt you once again within reach. How could I ever have forgotten to smile knowing you exist somewhere in the world. Forgiveness what I ask for not recalling that you and I are not alone.
