I absolutely have to give it up to my New York boys James Patterson and Ben Roc, better known as The Knocks. At the time of writing, they have hit the elusive #1 spot on The Hype Machine with their stellar cover of M83’s “Midnight City” featuring songstress Mandy Lee. Their take on one of last year’s best songs is absolute dance floor gold, injecting their own upbeat electro magic into the track.
