I had this song dropped off in my mailbox last week, and I’m so happy to finally be able to share this with all of you. Bombs and Bottles is a New York City based DJ/producer getting ready to drop his new 5-song EP entitled Tonight, release date TBA. The EP “chronicles a night out on the town from both a man and woman’s perspective, their chase through the club and a passionate fling at the end of the night and encompasses many musical genres from House, Pop, Electro, and Dubstep to name a few. ” “#WhenTheLightsGoOut” is Bombs and Bottles’ single off Tonight, and if the rest of the EP sounds like this song, I think I’m gonna really like B&B. The song starts off slow with some good vocals, reminiscent of Chromeo, that quickly builds into a huge drop that I can only describe as ‘mellow dubstep.’ Some great synth work and a good beat really make this song a hit for me. Check it out, play it for your friends and see if they don’t think the same.
