Ellie Goulding has been all over the sound waves with the recent successes of her two stand alone singles “You, My Everything” and “Burn.” Now west coast group At Dawn We Rage has taken the latter and injected the pop hit with bouncy electro synths and a driving percussive beat. The trio does a fantastic job of creating an ebb and flow to the track, and just when you think they’re going to blast you in the face with a massive wall of sound, they pump the breaks and drop into a orgasmic half-time trap feel. Now, you could put almost anything under Ellie’s vocals and it would sound like angels from above, and At Dawn We Rage does a fantastic job delivering a moving production fitting for the UK songstress.
