Hooray! After a long, agonizing wait, it’s finally here – Spring Awakening has released a brand new location and lineup for the 2016 Chicago festival. Having called Soldier Field home for the past few years, the festival will celebrate it’s 5-year anniversary this year at a new locale to create memories. After a long process of tracking down and securing a location that would allow such a large event and receiving location permit access, Spring Awakening will be held at Addams/Medill Park in Chicago on June 10-12.

As a wonderful gift to all of us who eagerly waited for the news, the full lineup is absolutely killer. Featuring massive headliners such as Above & Beyond, Crystal Castles, Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, deadmau5, Zeds Dead, Datsik, Flux Pavilion and a whole lot more internationally renown talent, Chicago is in for a treat. Even better, and for the first time ever, SAMF will feature two main stages for fans to explore and dance the weekend away to.

Also in 2016, SAMF welcomes three new curators including the Dirtybird trendsetters who will host their very own Birdhouse stage, along with DJ Mag, who will give fans the chance to explore a fresh and unprecedented lineup of acts from all corners of the scene. Finally, Pete Tong will bring his acclaimed All Gone Pete Tong stage to the festival floor, formally adding Spring Awakening to the list of events like TomorrowWorld and Electric Zoo to have been graced by its presence.
