Grab your harem pants, pack up the palo santo, and stock up on sunscreen – Lightning In A Bottle has just dropped their 2017 lineup and, as in years past, it is absolutely stacked with talent.

Lightning In A Bottle’s parents, The Do LaB, has just announced the twelfth edition of the Lightning in a Bottle Arts & Music Festival lineup, taking place May 24th – 29th during Memorial Day Weekend in Bradley, CA.

This year’s announcement continues LIB’s tradition of pulling in world-renown talent that mixes in the eclectic up and comers with prominent headliners. This year’s lineup is a carefully crafted complement to the community spirit of the festival where participants gather to learn about environmental stewardship, elevate cultural awareness, and unleash art across the landscape.

More than 100 musicians and artists will converge onto the San Antonio Recreation Area this Memorial Day, with international bass hero, Bassnectar, topping the bill. Fresh off a chart-topping album release, electronic icon Bonobo is set to serve up his signature brand of lively, transcending grooves and for his first LIB ever, UK-based TroyBoi will join the fray with the venerable Rüfüs Du Sol taking a short hiatus from their sell out tour to grace LIB’s main stage.

In addition, the Haitian-born producer Kaytranada will throw down a drum-heavy set to showcase ear-catching sounds from ‘99.9%’, one of the most celebrated albums of 2016. At the illustrious Lightning Stage, deep house lovers will find something unique in the mesmerizing Bob Moses, returning after 2-years from their set on the Woogie Stage. Rounding out the top slots at the aforementioned Woogie Stage, legendary techno innovator Richie Hawtin will hand-deliver his seminal sounds, while Leon Vynehall will offer his hard edged take on house music.

Music curators at Do LaB are working overtime this year, packing new genres into an already expansive spread of musical delicacies, adding trance elements like Hedflux and Perfect Stranger and drum & bass flavors like Ivy Lab and Calyx & Teebee. Bringing along a small army of top-end female movers and shakers, LIB will include performances from Jhené Aiko, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Wafia, Vallis Alps, Climbing PoeTree, The Seshen, Madame Gandhi, Elohim, Erica Dee, spacegeishA, tINI, Lauren Lane and MASHA – just to name a few.

Finally, congratulations are in order for The Grand Artique, as the stage is graduating this year from a fully immersive theatrical experience to a dedicated stage with a full blown lineup. The Grand Artique has been a growing fan favorite at Lighting In A Bottle for nearly a decade now and after last years incredible setup and performances, it’s no wonder festival promoters wanted to push a larger experience here. I can personally attest to the rowdy late night raucousness of the The Grand Artique and it’s accompanying Speakeasy.
