[FESTIVAL NEWS] Lollapalooza 2014 Headliners To Include Eminem, Skrillex, Arctic Monkeys and Kings Of Leon

Over the last couple years, Lollapalooza has been unable to keep a lid on it’s stacked summer lineup as the spring usually brings with it rumors and leaks regarding who is slated to play Chicago’s Grant Park. Even we have played a role in getting some of that early information out there in years past. Up until today, Perry Farrell and the Lolla gang have done a good job keeping people guessing, that is until Chicago music writer, Greg Kot, tapped some of his insider sources to confirm Lollapalooza’s 2014 headliners. According to The Chicago Tribune, here is who you can expect to see playing the main stage at night this year:

Eminem
Skrillex
Kings Of Leon
Arctic Monkeys

Another group who have already confirmed Lollapalooza for this year is Foster The People (You can see a full lineup of rumored artists below). According to The Tribune, the complete lineup will be revealed next week. In all, 100 acts will perform across eight stages in downtown Chicago’s Grant Park.

Eminem returns to Lolla just three years after his last headlining performance while Kings of Leon previously headlined in 2009. Both Arctic Monkeys and Skrillex also played in 2011, but did not headline. Skrillex also played last year’s festival with his side project Dog Blood.

Tickets for Lollapalooza, which last year drew a capacity audience of 300,000, are scheduled to go on sale next Tuesday. Lollapalooza 2014 will take place this year during the weekend of August 1st – 3rd.
