Snakehips & Mø’s single, Don’t Leave, is a punchy and passionate track. I love music that tells a story and “Don’t Leave” does not leave me disappointed.

The lyrics plead with a lover to stay but make no excuses for her bad behavior. She seems to say “Don’t think with your head. Let’s focus on the best parts of this relationship and get washed away by our emotions”. It’s a song that’s been made before but the lyrics flow perfectly with the passionate, accompanying sound. The tide of music that mixes with the lyrics seem to crash like waves into a cliff side. The singer seems to be trying to smash and erode away the mental barrier that has been constructed by her lover.

Lyrics aside, this track makes you want to get up and move. The punchiness is real and the fade-in and out of the track is sudden but it took me to a place full of passion and movement. I loved this track and hope you do, too.
