Yesterday, West Coast and Vegas residents Gabriel Blu released an original collaboration track with Pastiche that restores some faith in the existence of the classic deep house sound we all love. This five and a half minute groover, titled “Away,” has undertones like that of Dusky, Hot Since 82 and Shiba San while still taking the listener on a voyage through vocal processing perfection that pairs well with a poolside. I really enjoyed this track as it takes the audience away and allows one to forget their current troubles as they escape to a blissful beat. Throughout the experience, the track brings in some solid baselines and funky fills that are sure to roast some dance floors in the coming months.
