I fell in love with Lykki Li long before I saw her perform at Lollapalooza this year. However, seeing her live only confirmed my obsession with the Swedish born singer/songwriter. Lykki recently took a trip to Triple-J, Australian radio’s premiere indie station, to perform some songs off her beautiful new album, Wounded Rhymes. She even gave listeners an added bonus when, with only her acoustic guitar and two backup singers, she performed a beautiful cover of classic soul jam, “Unchained Melody.” Hauntingly simple, the song really gives her voice a chance to shine through the darkness.
