“Do you want to question everything?”

When it comes to guitar music, Jack White is one of the genres most fabled legends. The 42 year old White Stripes frontman has two solo albums under his belt since the dissemination of The White Stripes back in February of 2011. Jack White has also released albums with bands The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.

White’s newest video is a teaser for his forthcoming third solo studio album. The track features a plethora of disjointed samples from what sounds like might be unreleased tracks. Downtrodden melodies to uplifting piano music to cuban style drums. “Do you want to start a fire?” questions White, before being interrupted by yet another shift of song.

The video, directed by Jack White, features a characteristically random assortment of avant garde shots and carefully placed objects. It’s a tumultuous frenzy that goes back and forth between screeching, braking, and catapulting towards the nether regions of guitar musics most exalted state.

White recently proclaimed while interviewing Gary Oldman that his next album will be  “good gardening music or roofing music or, you know, back-alley stabbing music.”

When it comes to guitar music, Jack White reigns supreme, and “Servings and Portions from my Boarding House Reach” explains why.
