On this Friday, the faceless project Jesse and the Wolf has graced the world with debut mixtape “Free Love”.

The mixtape, which is out now via Fool’s Gold Records, is a refreshing masterpiece that we all didn’t know we needed. It is a piece of art that stirs up a sense of nostalgia while also giving us a taste of something new and exhilarating. Each and every track on this production is an honest, vibrant portrayal of the freedom of expression.

If you’re going into the mixtape not knowing what to expect, you’ll be immediately drawn into the hypnotic vocals.

Leading track, “I Want More” takes you into dark hip-hop beats reminiscent of old school East Coast hip-hop. As the bar is set from the lead track, you will feel pleasantly surprised by the next tune “Rollin,” as it picks up the pace and brings the funk. The surprises don’t end there. If you’re feeling something a little more dance-y, Jesse and the Wolf has got you covered with “Glow in the Dark” and “Table Dance.” Without losing sight of their own style, they prepare the dancefloor with these two tracks that express a more electro, disco side of the project.

Jesse and the Wolf crafts each track with a careful selection of vocals, diverse instrumentals, and sound engineering, avoiding any sense of chaos as a result of the use of diversity. This mixtape is Wu-Tang meets Daft Punk meets George Clinton. Well, that’s one take on it. With a product that’s crafted with this level of brilliance and innovation, you can’t really compare it to anything.

Free Love is just the beginning of what Jesse and the Wolf has in store for everyone.

The project is already set to release an exciting new single “Selecta” with none other than hip-hop superstars Ghostface Killah, Juelz Santana, and Telli. The track will be available on January 25th via Fool’s Gold Records.
