I know what you’re thinking. Yes, that is how their name is spelled and yes, they love to use symbols in everything. Beyond being a bit frustrating as a blogger to remember the keystrokes for ∆ and § (Thank God for copy/paste), ::M∆DE:IN:HEIGHTS:: has a truly lovely sound that is very soothing yet very upbeat. Running around in the territory of mythical/dreamy/filth pop, the amazing use of synths, bass, and drum kit keeps the listener hovering on some ethereal plane all the while nodding their head to the undoubtedly catchy vocals. It really is the perfect album to listen to while waking up in the morning; not too heavy, but upbeat enough to start the day. ::M∆DE:IN:HEIGHTS:: is made up of male/female duo Alexei Saba and Kelsey Bulkin. APORIA: IN THESE §TREETS is the second album from the couple, and it really seems that they have worked hard on their sound and are really starting to feel out their niche. Check out a couple of the songs from the album below and if you like what you hear, head over to their Bandcamp page to download their discography (you pay what you want for the download) and follow them on Twitter @madeinheights.
