I rarely post mashups on this site due to the fact that it is so easy to run together two songs and make them sound okay. With the rise of the desktop DJ I have seen and heard hundreds of poorly produced mashups flood the interweb, but only a handful of producers are able to really lock down the sound.

DJ Earworm is definitely one of those producers, and he has finally released his yearly mashup of all the hit songs from 2011, entitled “United State of Pop 2011.” I can’t imagine the amount of time he spends cutting and pasting these samples, but it must be gruesome after some time.
