Not to be cliche, but they say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, if that’s true, than it would still be impossible to tell the story of what it’s like to experience Burning Man for the first time. To try and put it simply, Burning Man is insanity on every level, both human and extraterrestrial. To say it’s simply a music festival is dramatically undercutting the profound experiences Black Rock City has to offer. It’s music, yes, but it’s also art, creativity, spontaneity, human development, emotional transformation, and on and on. It’s one of those experiences in life where you will find exactly what you are looking for, whether you know exactly what that is or not. And while the music was in no short supply – the likes of Skrillex, Major Lazer, Carl Cox, Lee Foss, GRiZ, Joachim Garraud, Seth Troxler, Tycho and many more all performed on the playa this year – there is so much more to the Burning Man journey than sound.

While we can’t fully describe what it’s like to immerse yourself into the Burning Man experience, we try our best to at least capture some of the magic of the playa.
