I haven’t been this excited to cover a festival in a long time.

Everywhere I go, I kept hearing rumblings of “the most amazing fest ever! You have to go!”. Aptly headlined, What The Festival has been on my list of go-to’s since moving to the West Coast. Next week my child is coming out to play.

Held on the beautiful grounds of Wolf Run Ranch – right under the looming tower of Mount Hood – What The Festival is a carefully curated weekend of interactive art, 8 stages of electronic and live music, speaker series, movement classes, and plenty more.

Part of the excitement of the festival comes from the infamous Pool Stage – a massive kiddie pool play area for adults. Part of it comes from having the chance to run around a forest for 4 days. And a lot of it comes from the chance to see so many ass shakers in one place and time!

Artists I’ve been waiting to see are coming together under one sky – names such as Bakermat, Brasstracks, ZHU, The Funk Hunters, Big Wild, Gramatik, and more!

Just typing out the names gets me excited.
