Nothing gets my day off to a better start than a slow-burning progressive melody, courtesy of one of the best in the business at slow-burn progressive melodies, Deadmau5. Bringing the serious feels on this track, “Stay” is featured on Colleen D’Agostino‘s upcoming six-track EP, Collide, out on Mau5trap Records in the near future. With some top-notch production from the mau5, “Stay” embraces the progressive nature of it’s creator, luring you in with the gentle piano and Colleen’s powerfully emotive vocals before progressing toward a bouncier atmosphere – reminiscent of some of the mau5’s earlier work. Diehard fans of Deadmau5 may also recognize hints of “Drop The Poptart” in this edit, an unreleased track that has been floating around since 2014.

The pair have previously worked together on “Seeya”, off Deadmau5’s while(1<2) album. The track recently resurfaced as an acoustic cover via Colleen, which you can check out below as well. Collide will be released via mau5trap on March 15th.
