Attempting to put a label on Sound Tribe Sector 9 is a nearly impossible task. Part electronic, part jam band, and a whole lot of fun, the highly regarded jamtronica (yes, that’s a real term) group has been eagerly awaiting their back-to-back Chicago billings. Scheduled to take place on February 13th and 14th, the two-night gathering is sure to generate an endless amount of good vibes.

While evening #1 takes place at The Aragon, the band’s second performance moves to the more intimate surroundings of the House Of Blues, which seems fairly appropriate, given that it’s Valentine’s Day. Both of these can’t-miss shows need to be included at the top of your priority list. Toro y Moi is set to open for STS9 on the first night, so you’ll definitely want to arrive at the venue nice and early. Full capacity crowds are rarely an issue at The Aragon, but with Sound Tribe’s killer lighting setup, it never hurts to get yourself strategically positioned.

Below you can sift through a variety of STS9’s best live recordings from their 2014 campaign. Give ’em a listen!
