The Track Is Sure To Be Dirtybird’s Go-To Hit During The Dirtybird Campout and BBQ’s this fall.
Walker & Royce have finally released the groove heavy track “Take Me To Your Leader,” on Dirtybird Records. The track, forthcoming on the duo’s debut album Self Help is truly a funk jam that yearns for the nostalgic days of George Clinton and the Funkadelic while acting, functionally, as a house track.
The synthesis of funk and classic house elements has always been something that Dirtybird has prided itself on, but Walker & Royce are taking this dynamic to an entirely new level.
