Get ready to add an upbeat new track to those Summer 2018 playlists;

Whethan uploaded his rendition of Clairo’s “Pretty Girl” this morning on Soundcloud. The original track, which can be listened to here, is allegedly a personal favorite of his.

 Clairo is on the rise as a lo-fi vocalist. The 19-year-old blew up following the release of her recent “diary 001” EP. “Pretty Girl” is one of six tracks in the collection of work, and Whethan succeeded in livening it up with a faster BPM and his signature electronic grooves. Everyone loves a good bootleg!

We can only hope that this foreshadows an official Whethan/Clairo collaboration in the future. The two young artists have proven their respective raw talents to the music world, and beautiful things happen when gifted  individuals come together through a shared passion.
