There isn’t anyone in the EDM scene that has perfected break beat music the way Wuki has.

The Denver-based DJ/producer’s music is a blend of booty, breaks, electro, and house. He’s always brought extremely unique, danceable tunes to the table, and he continues this creativity on his latest single, “Make It Clap.”

Wuki describes himself as the undisputed king of booty music on his Soundcloud page…this track definitely proves that. It’s a spin on Chicago Booty House music; Wuki’s sound design combined with vocals from Dances With White Girls gives this track a ton of potential to tear up dance floors. I really love how Wuki incorporates a variety of music styles in his music, specifically breaks. It’s a genre that has largely been left untouched by the EDM craze, but Wuki does an excellent job of putting his own spin on it.

Wuki has released a ton of great music in 2016. “Make It Clap” is just his most recent. His remix of Madeaux’s “New Wav” sounds similar to this one with a bass/future house twist. He throws some trap drums and horns into the mix with “Work It,” while “She Got Some” is a booty-tech track with deep, thought provoking lyrics about ass shaking. It’s great finding artists and watching their sound grow and improve over time. Wuki has given us his best music yet in 2016, and I can’t to see where this artist takes us next.
