Shit. It’s a pretty big pot. Your back tenses you’ve got a decent hand, but is it enough? The other guy just went all-in doubling the pot. You know losing what you’ve already lost will cut you out of the game. Feeling the heat, you do your best to hide it— don’t give anything away. Can you even physically stop yourself from sweating? I wish. Damn, its been a long minute now, dealers lookin’ at you all weird now. Fuck it, “I’m all in”. Standup. There’s a minute when time stops, and you brace for the absolute worse. You lose. Everything. You accept it. That’s inner peace right there. The moment of acceptance that everything you know is going to end. And you know, thats fine. I’ve had good times. You come to. Dealer reaches across the table to the opponents hand, flips his hand over, and the only thing you think is, am I going to win or nah?

It’s all a gamble. Like a thumping heartbeat, the repeating melody leaves you on this eery feeling of pure adrenaline. And like every poker game, there comes a point of pure euphoria from all of your emotions kicking in overdrive, and you just left like, fuck it. The bass straps us in for a ride on a high-stakes game giving us a high stakes feel. 

K Theory seriously did one on us with this one. Hailing from San Francisco, California, K Theory consists of Malcolm Anthony for vocals, Sampling and live conducting from Dylan Lewman, and Dustin Musser for more sampling and keys. This three man team started with more electro and dubstep and has progressed from glitch to now and eclectic hybrid of everything.
