Amassing millions of Spotify streams, Oslo based producer duo Davai has been causing quite the commotion in recent years with hit singles such as “Replay.” For their latest release, “Tear Me Down,” the duo demonstrates how to masterfully rebuild and reconstruct a track. The result is a danceable and groovy take on the original ballad, written and performed by talented solo artist Paul Ray. To complement their brilliant production, Davai teams up with renowned Norwegian solo artist Philip Rustad on the vocals. Originally the duo was only planning on doing a remix but got so carried away with the process that they ended up remaking the entire track. Davai’s “Tear Me Down” hits all the right notes with its melodic, dance-pop feel and flawless vocals.
