My mind has been wandering for months now, but my dubstep daze is finally over and done with. Begging the question, how many times does one person need to read the blasphemous phrase ‘dubstep is dead?’ Because I’m never going to believe it. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not ever. So please just appreciate bass music as it is – and for what it has the potential to evolve into. There are so many different, dynamic, and insightful viewpoints under the EDM umbrella, all of which need to be heard. Yes, sounds get recycled, styles get imitated, and subgenres get worn out quicker than a cheap pair of gym sneakers, but at the end of the day, this brand of music’s meteoric rise (primarily in America) has been nothing short of a miracle.

Speaking of the good old United States, a couple of Yankees happen to be the devious delinquents responsible for the feisty “Wolf Pit.” Distributed as a free download via SMOG Records, Dubloadz & Midnight Tyrannosaurus’ latest collab is the kind of skull-crushing madness that we knew these two savages were more than capable of manufacturing. Lets be honest, when producers of this caliber link up on the same tune, something extremely nasty is guaranteed to materialize. We had absolutely no doubt that the vibrations from this dino-sized dubstep banger would be felt halfway around the globe. Grab yourself a helmet, mouthguard, and any other available armor, because we have a hunch that you are going to need all the extra protection you can get. The moment you turn your back on this bloodthirsty track is the moment that it mercilessly rips your body to pieces.
