Working together in monstrous harmony, this week sees the release of “Night Shine”, a collaboration between dubstep producers Excision and The Frim. Released through Excision’s co-founded label Rottun Records, this track is both haunting and destructive.

The duo has taken on vocalist Luciana and her impressive addition to the track makes this one stand out. Setting the tone in beautiful yet menacing style, refined piano chords echo out of darkness, with Luciana’s vocals soaring in authoritative fashion over the top. As a punchy beat stomps into action and adds further suspense, you are suddenly rocked by the plunging drop sequence with a bass line that grinds, whirs and twists.

“Night Shine” is a refreshing cut of dubstep, and has a brilliant quality of production to it. You can grab a copy on Monday.
