After securing a Pete Tong premiere a few weeks back, this new jam from Samual James has finally dropped. James is another young talent from Australia, with the Melbourne native following in the footsteps of fellow DJ and producer HELENA to release via Basik Rkrds. He also recently played at one of her Drai’s residency nights, and before that had supported both Porter Robinson and Sander Van Doorn at other shows.

With his profile clearly on the rise, what is ‘Vita’ all about? Well, it’s a wonderfully unique piece of electro-house that combines numerous elements. From the gnarly melody developing alongside fierce vocal interjections and an ever expanding bass line, this one is bound to go off in any club situation. Use of synths on this one are hugely dynamic and they really keep the track moving forward.

This release is striking and distinctive, and a great display of talent from Samual James. The surging nature of this single also makes me keen to hear a full vocal track fro him in the future. Get your hands on this summer scorcher here.
