What do you get when you throw two of EDM’s craziest minds into a room stocked with spoons, cats, Ring Pops, and only one copy of the Matrix on VHS? Well, we’re not exactly sure either, but we assume it would sound a lot like Flux Pavilion and Dillon Francis‘ massive new collaboration “I’m The One.” Imagine Neo flying through the Matrix, laser blasting agents with impunity to a soundtrack of rolling bass lines and melting synths while he chants, “I’m The One… try and fuck with me now.” Ok, that might just be my nerdy side talking, but at least we wouldn’t have to sit through three movies of Keanu in black leather. “I’m The One” sets the pace with a grimy Moombah structure a la Dillon Francis and plenty of bass heavy sound courtesy of Flux Pavilion. With two such heavy hitters on one production, it’s hard to imagine this track being anything less than colossal.
