Question: What happens when you take two trend setting producers, let them loose on each others’ music and say, “Have fun!”? That’s like asking what would happen if you let Picasso go nuts on a Salvador Dahli. The result is insanely creative, mouth wateringly delicious and highly quirky, and that’s exactly what Ryan Hemsworth and Wave Racer have set out to do with their Destroyed remix release. Dropping as a super limited 7″, the record will feature each artist’s remix of the others’ track in a no holds barred, musical face off.

It’s a production that simply begs you to pay attention to it, as both producers are on the cutting edge of electronic music at the moment and simply making great music. The first release comes courtesy of Ryan Hemsworth and his take on Wave Racer’s bouncy single, “Streamers.” What follows is a beautiful chaos of stabbing synths, vocal chops and pitch bending melodies. The reaction is immediate, as noted by these comments:
