A couple weeks ago, Australia-based troupe Panama released their debut EP, Always, featuring the slow-burning indie single “Always.” In support of the new tune, fellow countryman Wave Racer has taken his self-proclaimed love for vocoders and arpeggios and applied them to his brilliant remix of the EP’s title track. The Sydney native creates an absolutely captivating production with the bouncy, staccato beats and melodic synths contained within. Throw in some finely chopped vocal cuts and you have yourself a recipe for a massive hit, that statement being justified with the 100,000+ plays it got within the first 24 hours on Soundcloud.
