Well clearly I cannot get enough of HAIM. I actually stumbled on this cover in my Soundcloud feed and didn’t recognize the song until I caught myself singing along. I even had to Google the track name, and when Haim came up I literally slapped by palm on my forehead. Did I not tell you, or did I not tell you!? Haim is all the rage. Fleet Foxes covers the newly released track “Don’t Save Me” in a simple yet folk-ified acoustic set.

This just goes to show the diversity the music written by the three sisters is capable of spanning. Fleet Foxes makes this new track sound like a old classic, as if its a Crosby Stills and Nash cover. Fleet Foxes are known for their rustic indie-folk sound that plays on pure vocals and basic instrumentation that showcases true musical talent. This cover of “Don’t Save Me” is no exception and is perfect to listen too on these first few days of fall.
