Melbourne, Australia based singer/songwriter Eden Mulholland has caught my attention from halfway across the globe. And while the internet makes that statement carry a little less weight, he is someone who you should put on your music radar as well. Taking a less conventional path in music as a former contemporary dancer, Eden has released a set of catchy indie-pop tunes that remind me a little of MGMT or Foster The People.

While “Blueprint” is not the official single on his upcoming Feed The Beast album, set to release in June/July in Australia and NZ, the driving beat and melodic vocals set the tone for a perfect day, optimistically putting the pieces together to build something far grander than we could imagine. You can also check out the official single for the album, titled “I Will Echo.” A bit more upbeat and geared for those warm, summer days ahead.
