Manic Focus is to electronic music what Steph Curry is to the NBA. A breath a fresh air. An entirely new perspective. Somebody who’s approach is so drastically different that you can’t help but immediately take notice. Still soaring high after his recent appearance on GRiZ’s second installment of All Good Radio, the Chicago transplant wasted little time in serving up this groovy makeover of “It’s All Good.”

The remix opens with some soulful lyrics that flawlessly transition into a brilliant arrangement of catchy samples and sturdy percussion. On top of being a phenomenal track, it also happens to be a free download – most of you loyal MF’ers should probably be used to this type of treatment by now, it’s become customary. As his distinct sound continues to mature, the overall quality of his productions also improves by leaps and bounds.

Ever since adopting Chicago as his second home, the turnouts at local Manic Focus shows have risen by dramatic numbers. Having said that, his upcoming show at Concord Music Hall (on March 18th) might feature his most stacked lineup to date. From the opener, Artifakts, to the members of his live band like Borahm Lee (of Break Science), Statik, and the horn players from The Heard, the roster for this billing runs really deep. Although this particular venue accommodates a fair amount of people, it will definitely fill up quickly. Make sure that you’re inside before it reaches capacity.

Tickets for Manic Focus (LIVE BAND)/Artifakts can be bought here.
