So folks, Infrasound Music Festival is back again in 2015 in Black Water Falls, Wisconsin (May 28th-21st) and based on the freshly announced lineup, there is an unmistakable emphasis on dubstep and bass music (just look at that undercard!). Coming in hot with low-frequency flavors from dubstep pioneer Benga (2 sets), the ever dark-and-deep sounds of New Zealand’s duo Truth, and a heavy dose of grime and aggression from Grimblee, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Bommer, Shwex, and BadKlaat to name a few of the prime cuts. In the mood for something a little more chill and funky? Have no fear, Thriftworks and The Opiuo Band are there with you in mind.

Putting the cherry on top and sealing the vibe of the festival, however, are two sets of what is guaranteed to be a psychedelic, other-worldly audio/visual journey from none other than TIPPER with an uptempo set, coupled with visuals from the one and only Android Jones. If you’ve been feelin’ that itch to get enlightened this May, you’d be hard-pressed finding a better place to feel the light (and the very, very dark). And, you’ve got Funktion One sound systems powering your favorite acts all weekend long, so your ears don’t miss a single beat.  Weekend passes can be purchased here (and for $135 this is quite literally the best bang for your buck). Did we mention Infrasound takes place on a swinger’s colony? That really ought to make things interesting.
