Welcome to The Daily Swim, a running series on The Sights and Sounds in an effort to bring you as much new music as we can. As a daily swimmer, water has always served as a dichotomy to my psyche – wholly and unswervingly calming in it’s vast simplicity yet at the same time able to harness and create massive amounts of energy. Which is exactly the type of music The Daily Swim will feature – no fuss posts with tracks from great producers that serve as both calming and energizing to get you through the deep end of your day.

Today’s Daily Swim comes NY producer YUME, who accompanied this release of “Kiss Me” with an announcement via his Facebook that he will no longer be making music under the current moniker. While this chapter has come to an end, we’re glad we got to feature some of the great, chilled out beats he put together for us. We look forward to hearing the next generation of sounds from the talented artist.

“Just to clear up any confusion, I’m not ‘quitting’ music and I’m never going to quit.

I’m simply moving ahead in my music journey and this time I’d like to approach things a lot differently than before, which is why I won’t continue making tracks as Yume. This past year or so has been really tight and I’ve learned a lot about music, this business and how it works, and I’d like to take some time to explore it in a different way.” – YUME
