Rihanna dropped the visuals for her banging new, Calvin Harris produced track, “We Found Love” yesterday. The song is great, as Mr. Harris always does a stellar job when it comes to getting people off their ass and dancing. But we already knew the song was good. The emotionally charged video really drives home the theme of the song. Directed by Melina Matsoukas, the video begins with British model Dudley O’Shaughnessy and our femme fatale glaring each other down in a bathtub. Scene change and the video cuts back to a happier time in their relationship, when they were doing everything from skateboarding to smoking joints together. The ups and downs the video portrays is something all too familiar in Rihanna’s life, as some scenes remind the viewer of heated arguments between her and ex, Chris Brown. Check the video out above. “We Found Love” appears on Rihanna’s sixth studio LP, ‘Talk That Talk,’ set for a November 21 release.
