Part of me felt like I was dreaming when I first noticed this Barely Alive & Getter collaboration. Even more surprisingly, a Barely Alive & Getter remix of Steve Aoki & Waka Flocka Flame’s popular “Rage The Night Away.” No, how could this be? I refused to believe it. But regardless of whether or not I chose to acknowledge this song’s existence, it would appear that this colossal dubstep anthem is just as real as you and me.
Featuring builds that belong on a nightclub sound system and breakdowns capable of terrorizing dance floors, these three dubstep gurus dug down deep in an effort to bring the world a bass track unlike any bass track we had ever heard previously. Made up of growls, lasers, and a drum pack so ruthless that it does not even think twice about smacking the taste out of your mouth, this fairy tale collab is certainly much, much more than just a myth. Nobody knows if and when these musicians may link up again, but we are sure to be hot on the trail when they (inevitably) return for round two.
