Well, nobody tell Dubloadz that dubstep has fallen under a considerable amount of scrutiny ever since a controversial Beatport graph hinted at the ‘death’ of the genre earlier this week – because he won’t acknowledge one word of that utter nonsense. And frankly, we’re in the exact same boat. When his Jugular EP recently issued a bass music chokeslam that would put the WWE’s own Kane to shame, we were beyond positive that this trendsetter’s sound was for real.
Getting right back into the flow of things, Dubloadz graciously dished out this latest tune entirely for free. Relying on his choppy synth patterns, intuitively positioned vocals samples, & redlining rhythms that keep us rocking all day and night, “Wonk Steady” is a dream come true. Dubstep will never sound the same after Dubloadz gets done with it, and he’s just getting warmed up.
