Sony Music Australia show their ability to spot a young talent once again this week, snapping up the latest sound from Yvng Jalapeño to release as a debut EP package. Having spent quite some time producing the track, it finally comes to the surface alongside four high profile remixes in the “In Control” EP.
The original tune, by the same name, is an awesome dance floor track with a pop edge, and has wonderful vocals supplied by Muki. Tight melodies and a generous helping of jazzy piano chords in the build up, “In Control” makes for a great listen. Krafty Kuts and Will Sparks take it down a more electro-fuelled progressive route, whilst Aussie Jordan Burns re-crafts it as deep house and Erb N Dub soaks the bassline in some added oomph.
