I wrote about Cato a few weeks back about his first single, “Camera Zoom.” Now his first mixtape is out and, like I’ve said before, I like help upcoming artists get their music around. The mixtape is entitled The Nite Owl and, as the name suggests, it is about going out, playing shows, partying, and basically tearing up the night scene. The Nite Owl is a prelude to Cato’s first album scheduled to be released in the fall, entitled HiPOP. For a first mixtape, the songs are pretty catchy, Cato has a good flow over some solid beats and a couple of the songs caught my ear, especially the “Popular” remix. The mixtape is free to download, so make sure you grab a copy of the mixtape here! And leave your comments below letting me know what you think. Enjoy.
