Team Bayside High kept teasing their remix of The Isley Brothers‘ “Shout” by posting my YouTube video from their opening set for gLAdiator and Candyland at the Bottom Lounge. Apparently I was the only one to capture it. It was hectic onstage as gLAdiator was setting up, but the finesse on the downtempo trap remix is amazing! The crisp trap snare sound that has become a hallmark of the duo never disappoints. If you sleep on Team Bayside in the Chicago area, you are missing out on the rise of two stars in Rick and Derek! Give it a listen, then check out “Such Great Heights” and their “Super Mario Mix.” This track is the latest in there trapped out remixes, following” Everybody Dance Now” by C+C Music Factory, “Such Great Heights” by the Postal Service and Basement Jaxx’s “Where’s Your Head At.” The Chicago duo made their North Coast debut last year, were at Summer Camp a couple weeks ago and are on the lineup for Spring Awakening – so keep an eye out for these guys and enjoy the free download below!
