Released toady through Universal Music Sweden is a pair of refreshing remixes – reworking the hugely popular “UFO” by Vigiland. The original has enjoyed extensive success, having already racked up over 14 million Spotify streams. The remixers for this project are Diskord and Lynx, both UK bass artists – the former more dubstep/trap and the latter drum & bass.

Circus Records’ Diskord take the lead with their version, slinging a hip-hop beat over the intro and adding substance with layers of drums and shards of melody. Lynx takes the tempo up several notches and throws in a hefty dose of jungle influences, ensuring the vocals of the original retain their clarity. There is a kind of organized frenzy to this rework, and it’s infectious.
